Aisha Williams is the Resident Services Coordinator at two senior living communities through Presbyterian Villages of Michigan in Detroit. She is passionate about serving seniors and individuals with disabilities. She is a staunch advocate for their inclusion, equity, access to resources, services and the healthcare needed to help them maintain their independence.

Her passion developed as a result of the care she helped provide to her aging grandparents and from volunteering to assist persons with learning and developmentally disabilities at a community mental health agency where her mother worked as a social work administrator.

Aisha is excited about becoming a Board Member and serving on the Mi Work Matters Board of Directors. Previously, she was the Respite Services Manager over two adult day programs through the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter, providing care, resources and care to individuals with all forms of dementia, and learning and developmental disabilities. She is a member of numerous organizations and committees that are committed to assisting seniors and people with disabilities.

Aisha holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Integrative Studies from Oakland University. She is a certified Mediator, ADA Coordinator and Dementia Practitioner. She enjoys swimming, bike riding, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.
