Matt Demorest is a local Entrepreneur, Creator, Investor & Speaker who has founded many small businesses in Michigan.  His career passion lies in creating and launching new brands and companies from scratch. 

He comes to MiWorkMatters with extensive experience in non-profits, including previously serving as the full-time Program Director at City Mission in Detroit, running youth tutoring and mentoring programs for students in the Brightmoor neighborhood.

Matt's proudest work achievements include founding and operating a mortgage brokerage (HomeSure Lending), a brewery (Five Shores Brewing), and other service and hospitality-related companies. 

Matt holds a Master of Arts in Youth Ministry Leadership from Huntington University and a Bachelor of Arts from Northern Michigan University.
