Social Media Intern Description
A Part-Time Social Media and Digital Marketing Unpaid Intern. The Social Media intern will be passionate about the mission of MWM/Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe (AKCS&C) and manage day to day social media and website planning and updates.
Estimated Time Commitment: 8-18 hours per week
Our unpaid Intern must be able to:
Maintain and update daily content on all social platforms and website
Build community engagement with customers and influences
Assist in building editorial calendar around seasonal themes and upcoming trends
Work with marketing team to manage day-to-day marketing activities (content creation, email marketing, social media) and analyze campaign effectiveness
Assist in ad-hoc graphic design and marketing projects as needed
Be proficient in Microsoft Office, social media platforms; mainly Facebook, Instagram and Squarespace for websites. Knowledge of Photoshop preferred
Have strong written and verbal communications skills
Have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Have the ability to manage time, meet deadlines and handle requests
Have the ability to work remotely and use their own computer and software
Part time Unpaid Volunteer Coordinator Description
A Part-Time Unpaid Volunteer Coordinator will be passionate about the mission of MWM/Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe (AKCS&C) and will help coordinate our growing, passionate group of volunteers!
Our unpaid Volunteer Coordinator must be able to:
Help recruit and schedule volunteers while growing the volunteer base and advancing individual and group partnerships in the community. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will assist with aspects of volunteer management; starting with communicating, scheduling and tracking volunteers. Job duties may also grow to include orientations and database maintenance. You will market and outreach within the community to recruit new volunteers and develop new opportunities and events for volunteers to engage with the mission of Mi Work Matters/Anastasia and Katie’s Coffee Shop & Cafe.
Estimated time commitment: 2-10 hours per week.
Knowledge of, and willingness to promote, the mission and activities of MWM/AKCC
Ability to work with a diverse group of people
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and highly organized
Experience working with volunteers, teaching or group facilitation
Experience working as a member of a team
Project management experience
Knowledge of database management software such as Bloomerang
