Jennifer McArdle
Board Member
Jennifer McArdle is a public librarian at the Novi Public Library in Southeast Michigan, where she leads programs and services for both children and adults. With a background in education, marketing, and community engagement, she brings a deep commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and lifelong learning. Jennifer has worked across the public and nonprofit sectors to support equitable access to information and opportunity, and she currently leads a library-wide initiative to co-design inclusive programs and services with members of the disability community.
Jennifer was drawn to Mi Work Matters by its mission and the belief that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities deserve meaningful work and full inclusion in society. As a DEI advocate and library professional, she is passionate about creating environments where all individuals can participate, thrive, and be recognized for their contributions.
Jennifer holds a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
