Laura M. Jackson

President - Board of Directors

Laura Jackson is honored to serve on the Board of Directors for Mi Work Matters. After a cheerleading accident at age 14 left her ventilator-dependent and quadriplegic, Laura turned adversity into purpose, becoming a passionate advocate for disability rights, inclusion, and equal access.

She is deeply committed to empowering individuals with disabilities through meaningful employment opportunities and resources, while helping reshape society’s understanding of what a full, impactful life with a disability can look like. Laura has led and supported numerous fundraising and awareness efforts for the disability community.

Laura holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Madonna University. Outside of her professional and advocacy work, Laura treasures time with her family and friends and is energized by the meaningful work that Mi Work Matters does.
