Randal L. D’Amore
Board of Directors
Randy D’Amore is a retired entrepreneur and business owner of 28 years. He was the founder and key decision maker of all aspects necessary to operate a small for-profit business. Sustainability and longevity for his business as well evaluating and advising other small business owners are some of the many talents he developed before retiring in 2016.
As a retiree, he decided to use his life-long skills to help other businesses and organizations survive and thrive.
Non-profit businesses like Anastasia & Katies Coffee Shop (the first work project of Mi Work Matters) need to operate on their own revenues, independent of the necessity of donations and grants because their vision is to continue to create and develop many additional employment opportunities for those with development disabilities.
A business will stay in business if it generates enough revenue to operate profitability. A non-profit business that can operate profitably will give it an equal opportunity for growth. The proof of success of Anastasia & Katies Coffee Shop will be tied into the success of our inclusive work environment.
Randy is looking to work with other successful business and professional leaders to create and develop long term and reliable employment for our team members and future team members – individuals with special needs and the commitment to providing excellent job skills at their place of employment.
It is a known truth that the most valuable asset of a successful business are their employees that work and support it day in and day out. It is the generous donations from our supporters that give us the opportunities to cover the startup costs and the necessary time to operate, expand and grow additional opportunities for individuals with developmental disabilities.
